At least I’m sure that I’ll be treating myself like a person instead of a smart answering machine.

Anyway, I have hopes that since blog advertising is still one of the least expensive forms of marketing (and also one of the most effective these days), I’ll always have something to blog about. I’m encouraging a lot of my friends to try this out, since it’s an easy way to make money while enjoying your time online. It’s just really something you have to invest in, though. You have to find the time to create a blog, understand blogging, understand how SEO writing works, and wait until your blog qualifies for monetization.

I am not yet in that stage where I can do it by myself, though. I’m happy for all the other sites out there that can do this blog marketing thing for me. All I have to figure out is the content.

For those of you who want to try it out you can start by reading up on search engine optimization and trying that out on your own blog.

Anyway, they said there was a network restoration going on. It’s been going on for ages, it seems. I’ve asked for a technician several times but I keep on getting the run-around. I’ve tried everything I know already, from the simplest thing such as refreshing network stack, reseting winsock catalog, doing a system restore, running a scanfor spyware and virus, disabling the firewall, disabling and uninstalling (eventually even changing) the antivirus. Throughout the two weeks and two days that I’ve been having this issue, I’ve reformatted my computer several times and installed different versions of Windows XP, all with the same issues. Just today I reformatted this computer three times, and I’m tired.

I also asked for a credit back since I dont’ want to pay for a service that doesn’t work the way it should work, and I still couldn’t get a straight answer.

This would be the turning point for my relationship with SUN Broadband Wireless. If this doesn’t get resolved within this week, I swear I’ll go for Globe Tattoo instead.

Anyway, I just thought that learning to design a website would really help in link building and boosting page rank. So I’m starting from scratch again. Basic HTML. Basic CSS. I should really make a commitment to follow through this time.

I’ve also been reading about how organized website structure is a must in web design. Establishing name conventions, thinking out the structure of directories, linking each other in a logical and easy to understand method, having a sitemap. I’ve never really put much thought into that because Wordpress spoiled me. Yeah, that’s my excuse, and I’m sticking to it.

Anyway, I’m planning to go to North Cemetery next week to shoot a photo essay about people who live in there. I’m not sure if some girl friends are coming along, or if we’re going to La Mesa Ecopark instead, but whatever happens, I’m sure that I’m going out to shoot on Thursday. :)

I found this article, How Blogs Can Help Your Business. It does make sense. I mean, the internet is a powerful marketing tool, I guess it would pay to use it. Fern-C is actually a great product, and its business plan is a great idea, I think that probably an integrated, SEO-friendly blog would help with the “visibility” part that the article is talking about.

Well, I still have a long way to go. I’ve only finished designing the first page. Hopefully it will go live tomorrow, if all things work for me (read: if the internet connection behaves and lets me upload stuff, i really should reformat this PC again).

It hasn’t been a very smooth transition from 2008 to 2009 for me and my husband, but if there’s one really good thing that came out of it, we learned how to approach issues like this as a couple working together instead of venting out our frustrations on each other. I realized that marriage really isn’t going to be all smooth sailing, but what will probably make the most difference is your attitude towards the journey.
