Sunday is Family Day!

We had lunch with my family at KKK last Sunday. It’s their first time there and I’m glad that the experience was good for them too. Papa’s sister was also there but she went home early, hindi na umabot ng merienda. My mom, who absolutely loves pancit (of any kind), liked their Pancit Luglog and said that she’ll go back again for that. They also tried the sago’t gulaman and suman at mangga, perfect combinations for merienda.

Aljude and I loved their Sisig ng Pampanga. I usually don’t eat sisig that isn’t crunchy like the one we always order at Gerry’s. Nandidiri kasi ako kapag malambot, parang may taba-taba. KKK’s sisig was soft, but I tried it out anyway, and I loved it. I wish we remembered to have them put an egg with it, but we forgot. My brother tried the adobo sandwich (and he ate it so fast, I wasn’t able to take a photo, haha) and leche flan. Read about it here.

I’m happy we spent time with my family last Sunday, hindi kasi kami nagkikita recently, masyado kami busy ni Aljude sa work. Sunday must be family day, it just wouldn’t be complete otherwise.
