Rawr!

Well, since we couldn’t find the owner, and nobody came looking for her yet, it looks like we’re going to keep the cat longer than expected. She’s definitely a Siamese cat, down to those sky-blue eyes of hers. Turns out that Siamese cats are very friendly in nature. They’ll easily go up to strangers and demand to be petted. You can really play with them because they sheathe their claws when playing with you (which explains why she lets me scratch her tummy all the time). They’re very tolerant of children and make good house pets. They’re also very intelligent so it’s easier to house break them than other breeds. They make a strange noise, instead of the usual meow that we hear from other cats. It’s sort of like a tormented growl. This kitty we found would sometimes lie down near my head when I’m sleeping (or trying to sleep) and I hear her, moaning and growling while she sits with her eyes closed. They’re not outdoor cats, if you force them to live outside, other cats will most probably hurt them. Or they end up as roadkill. She’s so cute. She sleeps as soon as we turn on the air conditioner. She’s such a sweetheart.

Aljude and I had lunch at Savory, Robinson’s Place Ermita today. It was a lot of fun because it’s a trip down memory lane for him. His family usually went there to eat before his father died.

We talked about his family while we ate. I suggest you try their chicken when you visit them. It’s definitely a classic. Read more here.

Aw!
